The Cancer Center at Mother Teresa of Calcutta Medical Center Undergoes Rebranding
The Cancer Center at Mother Teresa of Calcutta Medical Center, since 2017, has paved its way as the leading cancer centre that provides access to quality cancer care and treatment for the community of Central Luzon, especially in Pampanga.
To strengthen its commitment in delivering the best oncology care to all of its patients in Central Luzon, the Cancer Center is embarking on a new journey and will rebrand itself as CENTRAL LUZON INTEGRATED ONCOLOGY CENTRE (CLIOC) effective April 2, 2020 – a rebranding initiative that signifies the collaboration between the centre, and a regional healthcare industry player – the Integrated Oncology Centres (IOC).
IOC is an oncology arm of TE Asia Healthcare specialising in delivering high-quality oncology care in Asia. Other than CLIOC in the Philippines, IOC’s regional presence also includes cancer centres in Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Vietnam.
Equipped with advanced technology and medical experts in oncology who put their patients’ interest first, CLIOC aims to be the centre of hope for all oncology patients.
“Total Cancer Care” is exemplified through the various range of services that CLIOC offers – from cancer screening, identification, imaging, and evaluation, to diagnosis, treatment, monitoring prevention, and cancer support.
CLIOC created a multi-disciplinary team of doctors that include medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgical oncologists, pediatric oncologists, hematologists, nuclear medicine specialists, pathologists, pain specialists, and interventional & diagnostic radiologists to achieve the quintessential definition of what ‘Total Cancer Care’ stands for.
CLIOC is the only cancer centre offering Tomotherapy in Central Luzon, a state-of-the-art radiation therapy modality that combines treatment and real-time imaging.
Another integral component of CLIOC’s services is Nuclear Medicine, which enables the accurate diagnosis and effective surveillance of diseases using radioactive isotopes, as well as treatment for certain malignancies.
CLIOC has an outpatient chemotherapy centre that provides access to the latest oncology treatment, equipped with a pharmacy specialised in oncology, providing aseptic dispensary service and full range of oncology medications.
Other services that CLIOC offers include pain management, surgical oncology procedures, palliative care, traditional & complementary medicine, and nutritional support.
All of these help CLIOC to enhance the survival rate of cancer patients, proving our commitment and dedication towards saving lives.
Echoing the aspiration of our new parent company, Integrated Oncology Centres (IOC), CLIOC is committed and dedicated to providing patients with care and support every step of the way. We believe cancer treatment is a collaborative effort that requires the support of many people working towards one goal – the centre of HOPE & EXCELLENCE in Cancer Care.
